Research Talk "Sustainability reporting and green innovations"

The aim of this Research Talk is to present the results of a study on sustainability reporting practices and green innovations in Italian companies. The research, conducted by researchers at the University of Verona coordinated by Prof. Alessandro Lai, in collaboration with the GRINS Foundation – Spoke 5 (Mission 4, Component 2, Investment 1.3 of the PNRR), combined interviews with Italian companies and analysis of their sustainability reports, using artificial intelligence tools to identify significant corporate behaviors.
During the Research Talk, the internal dynamics that favor environmental and circular innovations, the strategic role of sustainability reporting as a cultural and cognitive lever, and the main ways in which companies communicate their environmental commitment will be discussed, with a focus on interventions aimed at efficiency and resource recovery.
After the presentation of the research, there will be a dialogue between entrepreneurs, policy makers, and the public, with the aim of promoting a shared reflection on the transition to more sustainable and innovative development models.
At the end of the presentations, there will be a convivial moment of exchange between researchers, companies, and the public.
