This article aims to investigate how circular economy (CE) strategies can help address growing risks in order to increase supply chain resilience (SCRES) and improve business performance. Through a survey conducted on Italian companies engaged in the adoption of CE practices, this study investigates how the adoption of CE practices can trigger a path of SCRES improvement, enabling companies to improve their overall performance and, consequently, to respond proactively to contexts characterized by high levels of risk.
